Alison Shantree Shamble Buckner, 52, Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, in Nashville, TN.

Alison was the daughter of the late Rebecca Williams Ladd. Her adoptive father is Walter T. Shamble; birth father, Norvil Williamson; and stepfather, Simon Ladd. She was born on May 30, 1972, in Christian Co. KY.

Alison was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church and was employed as an LPN for Bradford Heights. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spoiling her children and grandchildren. She was a caregiver for all and enjoyed nursing.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry (Allison) Williams and Elnora Totten Williams and paternal grandparents, Edward Cayce, Jr. and Evelyn N. Cayce.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Jamie Buckner, Children, Kristian (Sasha) Buckner, Jami (L.J. Stepp) Buckner, Kyan Buckner; Sister, Costin Shamble; Aunt, Mary (Pastor Garfield) Curlin; Mother-in-law, Eula "Edie" Buckner; Sister-in-law, Tori Buckner; Grandchildren, Keyon Buckner, Elijah Beard, Avery Stepp, and Kailee Buckner; a host of family and friends.
