Allen Leonard "Snow Flake" "Sonny" Leavell was born February 13, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN. to the late Emmitt Leavell and the late Erma Nee Hutchinson Leavell.  He was formerly employed with the Kirkman's as a Landscaper for over 20 years.  He was also in the U.S. Air Force as a Firefighter.

He enjoyed watching Westerns, and being a Firefighter in the Military.

He fellowshipped at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church Hopkinsville, KY.

Children: James L. Leavell, and Michael R. Swafford

Devoted Friends: Lula Mason, Curtis Slack, Sylvester Wills, and Michael Broady

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Willa M. Russell, Shirley Herrington, and John Leavell. Two Step Children.

He leaves to mourn his passing 4 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

A Walk-Thru Visitation will be held on 07/14/2020 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Gamble Funeral Home Hopkinsville, KY.

Funeral Services will be held on 07/14/2020 at 11:00AM with limited capacity due to social distancing at Gamble Funeral Home Hopkinsville, KY.

Burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Hopkinsville, KY.
