Amos Lee Kenner, 72, Pembroke, passed on Thursday, January 12, 2023, of natural causes.

Amos, the son of the late Ida Mae Kenner and Alec Burrus, was born on December 11, 1950, in Christian County.

Amos worked at Reynolds Metals and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He enjoyed fishing, barbequing, dancing, and watching University of Louisville games.

He was also a member of the Pembroke Mid Age Social Club and the Retired serviceman's club in Louisville, Ky.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Rasheedah Kenner; 4 siblings, Katherine (Burl) Ellis, Dorothy (John) Bell, Sonya Burrus, Shebra Kenner; 1 honorary grandchild, Mikelle Payne; 2 honorary great-grandchildren, Jaxon Whipple, Khyree Whipple; and a host of other relatives and friends.
