Annie V. Cope, 76, died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, she was born May 7, 1944, the daughter of the late Johnny and Mary Virginia Clardy Merriweather.

Annie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband-Jesse Cope, Sr., son-Jesse Cope, Jr., four sisters-Goldie Merriweather, Parthena Dobbins, Martha Dickerson, Georgia Merriweather and one brother-Hayes Merriweather.

She is survived by, four sisters-Sammie Lee Merriweather, Guthrie, KY: Lisa Merriweather, Martha Merriweather, Goldie Hayes, Hopkinsville, TN; two brothers-Johnny Merriweather, Hopkinsville, KY; Henry D. Merriweather, Guthrie, KY; two grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, daughter in law-Clea Cope
