Annie Bell Gilliard, born Annie Bell Wimbleduff on July 7, 1950, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at the age of 76. A cherished sister, loving aunt, and treasured friend, Annie’s life was marked by deep connections with her family and community.

Annie was the beloved daughter of Mary Richardson Wimbleduff and Benjamin Wimbleduff, Sr., both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, forming enduring bonds with her siblings. Annie is survived by her sisters Belinda Wimbleduff, Lucille Poindexter, and Annette (Greg) Givens, as well as her brother Eddie Wimbleduff; her dear friend Camille Diggs; as well as her loving niece and nephew, with whom she shared a special closeness and pride.

Annie is preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Wimbleduff, Jean Brown, and Barbara Wimbleduff; brothers, George Ben Wimbleduff, Benjamin Wimbleduff, Jr.  and Charles Wimbleduff.
