Barry Darnell McKnight, 57, Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Clarksville, TN.

Barry, the son of the late Robert McKnight and Stella Craig, was born on July 24, 1967, in Christian County, KY.

Barry was a member of Gainesville Baptist Church and was employed at B&D Backyard Creations LLC. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and family gatherings.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Wayne McKnight.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Grubbs McKnight; children, Lora McKnight, Whitney Harper, Dominic Smithson, Nathan Gamble, Barry D. McKnight, Shawn Northington, Le Mar Northington, Prince Northington, and Venus Poindexter; siblings, Debra Levy, Beverly Tornberg, Joyce Thomas, Janice (Steven) Stoney, Barbara Fears, and Stanley McKnight; 25 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.
