Benjamin Larry Russell, 76, Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Nashville, TN.

Benjamin was the son of late Benjamin and Eula Russell. He was born on January 1, 1948, in Christian Co. KY.

Benjamin was a member of Mt Zion CME in Todd Co. and was employed in the financial division at General Motors. Sgt Russell was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

He enjoyed gardening, grilling, helping and taking care of his family. He enjoyed sharing wisdom and knowledge with the younger generations. Benjamin took care of his sister in law, Vanessa Burnett. He was a family man and felt he was the protector of everyone.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step great granddaughter, Caylen Busby; brother, Stanley Russell.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ella Burnett Russell; Son, Montrell (Cathy) Russell; siblings, Linda (Cyrus) Graham and Daryl Russell; 4 step grandchildren, Glenn Busby, Tyree Busby, Latoya Busby, Malcolm Busby; brother, Vernon Osborne; 12 step great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
