Bessie Mae Bussell White, 78, Hopkinsville, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Christian Co.

Bessie was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Bussell. She was born October 27, 1945 in Christian Co.

Bessie was baptized at an early age. She was employed as a Personnel Supervisor with Civil Service for 32 years.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and playing cards. Bessie was a tax preparer, who enjoyed her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Lewis; siblings, Janice Bussell, Betty Quarles and Doris Houston.

Survivors include her children, George White and Wafi The God Hotep; siblings, Larry (Gale) Bussell, Diane Gray, Linda Heckor, Charles Bussell, Jerry (Rena) Bussell, Terry Bussell, Michael Bussell, Kenny Bussell, and Xavier Bussell; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
