Betty Jo Smith Wells, 82, Logan County, KY died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Logan Memorial Hospital, Russellville, KY of natural causes.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Bank Street A.M.E. Church, Russellville, KY with the Rev. LaKendra Hightower officiating.  There will be a Walk Thru visitation 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church.

A native of Logan County, KY she was born September 13, 1938, daughter of the late James Smith and Louise Mason Hollins.

Betty was a CNA at the Logan County Hospital.  she was a member of Bank Street A.M.E. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Wells.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Wells, Nine siblings, Nancy (Clifford) Jackson, Tarnda Beard, Janie Hollins, Gerri Hollins, Shirley (Ronald) Leonard, Laverne (James) Sanders, Charles Smith, Rev. Glen Hollins, Christine Hollins, Four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
