Betty Ann Turnley Bussell, 73, Hopkinsville, passed on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, of natural causes.

Betty, the daughter of the late Norvel Turnley Jr. and Edith Sanders Turnley, was born on February 20, 1949, in Christian County.

Betty was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and worked as a housekeeper at Holiday Inn.

She enjoyed reading, coloring, doing cross word puzzles, and taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Robert Bussell Jr; and a brother, Michael Turnley.

Survivors include her 4 children, Mark (Faailoa) Bussell, Robert Bussell, Jessie Bussell, Carolyn Bussell; 10 siblings, Norvel Turnley III, Calvin Turnley, Steve (Deborah) Turnley, George (Bernadine) Turnley, Linton Turnley, Clinton Turnley, Linda (William) Cox, Denise Turnley, Aretha (Micheal) Burman, Delores (Hay) Cox; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
