Bettye Jean Finch Benton, 76, Russellville, passed on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Bettye was the daughter of the late James Howard Finch and Naomi Snorton. She was born on February 8, 1947, in Logan Co.

She was a member of the Selectman Chapel AME Zion Church and worked as a Registered Nurse at Logan Memorial Hospital for 53 years. Bettye loved U.K. Wildcats and served on the Code of Enforcement Board in Russellville, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Henry Andrew Finch.

Survivors include her son, Mikie Benton; 3 siblings, Danny Finch, Janet (Nate) Miles, and Tony (Carolyn) Finch; 3 children, Felisa Benton, Richard Benton, and Tia Pollard; 1 Grandchild, Emery Benton; Devoted friend, Brenda Duffey; Host of nieces and nephews, Natalie McCutchen, Paula Washington, Victoria Cooper, Felecia Finch, Cedric Finch and Marcus Mason.
