Bobby Joe Thacker was born March 16, 1948 in Christian Co. KY to the late Joe Thacker, and the late Ruby Nell Gaines. He formerly worked as a Construction Worker. He enjoyed Fishing and Playing Chess.

He was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church.

Bobby Joe Thacker passed away on April 6, 2020 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.

He was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jerry Thacker

He leaves to mourn 3 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren, A host of Family and Friends.

A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home. A private burial at Smith Cemetery Caskey, KY.
