Brenda Joyce Edwards Babb, 72, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at her home.

Mask are required to attend funeral services.

A native of Christian County, she was born February 5, 1949, daughter of the late Roy Lee Edwards and Pauline Burrus Jackson.

Brenda was a member of St. Bethlehem Baptist Church, there she served as Deaconess, member of the Choir, Kitchen Committee and President of the Pastor's Aide.

Brenda was employed as a Nurse at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Christian County Health Department and Belmont Elementary School for a total of 44 years. The kids all knew her as Nurse Babb. She did private care for Geniva Home Health and Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Davis Babb.

Brenda is survived by two children, Cindy Edwards, Ashley Babb, three siblings, Larkette (Reginald) Bell, Sr., Marvel J. Edwards, Terri Edwards (Roy) Kenion, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
