Brenda Faye Washington White, 61, Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2023 in Madisonville.

Brenda was the daughter of the late Frank Washington, Sr. and Olene Smith, she was born December 29, 1961 in Christian Co.

Brenda enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, and being a grandmother to her "tinky pooh, KyKy" and her bonus grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother to her children. She was a HHS graduate of class 1981.

She is preceded in death by her devoted friend of 29 years, Andre Howard; her sister Annette Cooke; her brothers, Larry Lane, Frank Washington, Jr., and James Washington, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Shanika (Bobby) Washington, Martez (Roneesha) Washington; siblings, Marcelene (Chris) Murphy, Juanita Avert, and Michael (Charlene) Lane; grandchildren, Jakyree Babb, DJuan James Blackmon, Devontre James, Jameshia Babb Hastings, Lanesheona Grimes  and Leon Grimes, Jr.; a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.
