Carl Michael Quarles, 60, Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in Madisonville, KY.

Carl was the son of the late Reubest Quarles, Sr. and Virginia Quarles. He was born on March 7, 1964, in Christian Co. KY.

Carl was a member of Little River Baptist Church.

Carl had a passion for cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and making people laugh. He was often referred to as "Big Unc" because he took pride in being an uncle, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Charles Grubbs and Reubest Quarles, Jr..

Survivors include his wife, Faith Quarles; children, Carleah Quarles and Alysia Quarles; siblings, Oscar (Dorothy) Quarles, James Quarles, Lois (Alfred) Barney, and Debra (Barry) McKnight; granddaughter, Amaria Daniels; mother-in-law, Lady Godiva Hopson; fur baby, Kash; a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends.

He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
