Cedric Alan Smith, Sr., 66, Hopkinsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Nashville, TN.

Cedric, the son of the late, James Albert Smith, Sr. and Alma Lois Sharber Smith, was born on September 13, 1958, in Christian County, KY.

Cedric was a member of Now Faith Original Church of God and was a retired crane operator with Walsh Group Construction.

Cedric enjoyed DJing, pool, photography, Church's Chicken, skating, and watching concrete making. His nicknames were Casper, Lil Devil, Thor, DJ Ceddy Ced, Scottie, "Chuck/Ced" The Entertainer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Albert Smith, Jr.

Survivors include his brother, Jason (Cynthia) Smith; Son, Cedric (Jhamicah) Smith; Grandchildren, Trentsiah, Jhaziah, and Matex.
