Charles Eugene Cox, 78, died Friday, July 30, 2021 at Continue Care Hospital, Madisonville, Kentucky.

Mask are required to attend the funeral service.

A native of Christian County, he was born April 18, 1943, son of the late Charlie Cox and Lucy Bacon Cox.

Charles was a member of Herndon Bronaugh Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon, Trustee, member of the Finance Committee, Mass Choir and past president of the Adult Choir.

Charles was employed as a Farmer, he worked for the Ezell family for over 60 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Jennifer Inell Cox, Stephanie Idell Cox and one sister Lucy Nance.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jordan Cox, two daughters, Clarissa (Perry) Winters, Tonya (John) Rogers, five brothers, William (Linda) Cox, Luke (Rosie) Cox, Hoy (Delores) Cox, Rev. Anthony (Shirley) Cherry, and Stafford Cherry. 4 step-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.
