Charles Floyd Gold, 61, died February 27, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A native of Christian County, he was born July 1, 1959, son of the late James R. Warfield, Sr. and Juanita Marie Gold Bussell.

Charles was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. He was employed many years as Custodian for the Christian County Public School System.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Quinton Quarles and four siblings, James Richard, Sr., Fred Warfield, Phyllis Alexander and Ella Warfield.

Survivors include seven sisters, Barbara Leavell, Teresa (Christopher) Sheridan, Debra Warfield, Sharon Warfield, Victoria (Willie) Monroe, Wilma Massie, and Rebecca (Jose) Chi.
