Clyde Owen Kenner was born on December 11, 1953 the son of Walter Kenner of Clarksville, Tennessee and the late Ruby M. Terry Kenner. He was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church of Oak Grove, Kentucky. Clyde was self-employed, by cleaning commercial buildings. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, and the Expert Badge.

He is preceded in death by brothers: Walter (Butch) Kenner, Jefferson Kenner, James Kenner Smith, Bobby Dean Kenner and Paul Edward Kenner; sister: Angela Kenner Simmons.

Clyde is survived by his wife: Minnie Kenner ; daughter: Tamara Kenner ; son: Deljuan Alexander; sisters: Barbara (Marvin) Kenner Butler Moore, Norma Kenner, Frances Banks, Betty (Walter) Cuthbert, Lynnetta Parker, Jacqueline Luckett, Charlene Caswell, Debra McNeill, Charlotte Washington, brothers: Bobby Joe Grooms, Ronnie Fairman, James Earl (Gracey) Kenner, Phillip Kenner, Joseph Kenner, Dwight Terry, Ruben Walston, Michael Watson, Ricardo Walston, Charles Walston, Charlton Walston and Eric Kenner.  step-mother: Mary Elizabeth Ware- Kenner; and 12 grandchildren.
