Cory Damu Hemmings, 42, Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Clarksville, TN.

Cory, the son of the late Charles D. Hemmings. His mother is Julia (Anthony) Baggett. He was born on January 7, 1983, in Fontana, CA.

Cory was employed in production at Trane. He was a U.S. Veteran. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games (Call of Duty), and watching his favorite football team (49ers).

Cory is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Zakir Hemmings.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Ayanna Sky Hemmings and Cory LaVaughn Hemmings; siblings, Ronnie Taylor, Tana (Kerry) Hemmings Garrett, Shaniqwa Hemmings, Cameren Hemmings, and Torri Hemmings; devoted niece and nephew, DeyJuan Hemmings and Danielle Hemmings; a host of nieces and nephews.
