Daniel Wayne Smith, 63, Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Born on June 02, 1959, in Muhlenberg County, KY., Daniel is the son of the late Rev. Paul Smith Jr., and Patsy Murphy.

He was self-employed as a construction worker. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Phillip Smith, Terry Smith, Nathaniel Smith, 3 sisters, Cindy Woodard, Starla Murphy, and Twyla Murphy.

Survivors include 2 children, Brandon Smith, Danielle (Domanique Rogers) Pendleton, siblings, Ronnie L Smith, Kenneth (Phyllis) Smith, Dexter Smith, Annetta (Romelle) Matthews, Ricky Buckner, lifetime friend, Zepher Inette "Binky" Cayce, 1 grandchild; and a host of relatives.
