Darrell Wayne Shy, 59, Princeton, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his residence of natural causes.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Rev. Buddy Slaughter, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 12:00 noon until 12:30 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Princeton, he was born May 30, 1961, to the late Pap Gray and Cynthia Shy.

Darrell was employed as a cook for Holiday Burger Restaurant.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Civils Shy, children, Valesha Watson, Kamarya Prather, siblings, Craig Shy, Robert (Cheryl) Shy, Anthony Shy, Vivian (Marco) Bradley, Georgia and Stephanie Shy Walker, Four step-children, Robert (Veronica) Poindexer, Maurice Civils, Corey Civils, Tianna Hall, and one grandchild.
