Debbrey Ann Stevenson (Whitlock), passed away on August 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, devotion, and kindness that touched her family, friends, and community. Born on July 20, 1953, in Christian County, Kentucky, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated professional.
Debbrey built a long and respected career as a Food Service Manager with the Fort Campbell Civil Service, where she served for over 26 years. Her work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence were recognized by all who had the privilege to work with her. Through decades of service, she contributed significantly to the well-being and morale of the community she served, exemplifying reliability and genuine care.
Beyond her professional achievements, Debbrey was known for her deep commitment to her family and her vibrant personal interests. She shared a warm and loving marriage with her husband, Michael Stevenson. Together, they raised a family that was her pride and joy. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marilyn Whitlock (Andre) Jordan, and her son, Michael Stevenson II. Her grandchildren, Mishon Breelend and Kevyon Stevenson, were a particular source of delight in her life, as she cherished every moment spent with them. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her generosity and nurturing spirit.
Debbrey was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, whose memories she honored and cherished throughout her life.
An active and faithful member of Saint Bethlehem Baptist Church, Debbrey gave of her time and talents as an Usher and as a member of the Kitchen Committee. Her steadfast devotion to her church community underscored her values of service and faith. The warmth and hospitality for which she was known extended to her culinary skills—she truly enjoyed cooking and found great happiness in preparing meals for her loved ones. Shopping and spending cherished time with her grandchildren were among her favorite pastimes, bringing joy into the everyday moments of those around her.
Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on August 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Bethlehem Baptist Church, 198 North Main Street, Pembroke, KY. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
Debbrey Ann Stevenson’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and strength will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Her devotion to her family and community serves as a lasting inspiration, and her memory will be cherished always.
