Donald Berkley Southern, Jr., 69, Hopkinsville, died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at St. Mary-Elizabeth Hospital, Louisville, KY of natural causes.

Services will be at 12:00 Noon, Friday November 6, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Redd, Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born May 17, 1951, to the late Donald B. Southern Jr., and Norma Christine Johnson.

Donald was a Factory Worker employee.  He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Louisville, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donnell Dennis.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Southern, Mary Kay Brown, Donessa Dennis,and Thelma Whitlock Finch, siblings, Marsha Southern, Teresa Howard, Gwendolyn Waggoner, Kenneth (Lakita) Hart, Willie (Stephanie) Hart, Jr., Carmen Shabazz, Christopher (Stephanie) Hart, Bobbie (Delana) Spikes, Jr., and Phillip (Patricia) Hart, A devoted companion, Jill Anderson, Twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
