Born to Brenda L. Hanna and Melvin D. Dixon on February 8, 1979, in Hopkinsville KY. Donte accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church. The Lord instructed his heavenly Angels to escort Donte home on January 20, 2024, saying, "Come with me, and I'll give you rest".
Fondly known for his infectious sense of humor and natural charisma, Donte effortlessly made friends in any situation with people from all walks of life. A storyteller who could talk his way out of anything, leaving an indelible memory for those who knew him.
Donte's spirit will forever resonate with family & friends, who hold him dear. His ability to support, give, and love will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Donte, is survived by children Jessica Lanea Kendrick and Donte " Jamar" Dixon (Hopkinsville, KY.) ; Grandchild Jessiah Newsome (Hopkinsville, KY.) :Parents Brenda & Michael Reed ( Clarksville, TN.). Brother Cortez Dixon (Birmingham, AL.) Sister: Alala Reed and Brother Michael Parrish (Tullah, LA) Uncles: Larry J Dixon, Charles M. Dixon Jr., Jeffery G. Hanna (Hopkinsville, KY.) Marvin L. Dixon Des Monies IA., cousins, and friends.
Donte was proceeded in death by Melvin Dixon Father, Maternal Grandparents, Harvey Hanna Sr. & Sudie Hanna- Clark: Paternal Grandparents, Charles & Ernestine Dixon. Aunt Vickie Bell, Uncle Harvey Hanna Jr.
