Dorothy Taylor Forte, 92, Russellville, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, in Bowling Green, KY.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charlie and Henrietta Taylor. She was born December 16, 1930, in Logan Co. KY.

Dorothy was a member of Townsend Grove where she was a Sunday School Teacher, member of the Choir and Usher Ministry, and a mother of the church. She was employed as a grill manager with a local restaurant. She enjoyed being a part of the homemaker club, Ombudsman, doing crafts, cooking, and quilting. She was a caregiver to many and drove the school bus.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Barbee Forte; Daughter, Mable L. Forte; Son, James Forte, 2 Granddaughters and 1 great great grandson.

Survivors include her children, Nathaniel (Winnora) Spencer Jr., Bernice Forte, and Thomas Forte; 2 Daughter in love, Aletha Britt and JR; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
