Dorothy Mae Griffie Watkins, 103, died Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Terra Haute, IN.

Mask are required to attend funeral services.

A native of Christian County, KY she was born December 20, 1917, daughter of the late Joe and Alice Cayce Griffie.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board. She was also a former member of the Choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Alonzo Watkins, two sons, Hugh Washington and Isaac Watkins and also five brothers, Tommie, Jodie, Alex, Hugh and James Griffie.

She is survived by her son, William Watkins, daughters, Clara (Carl) Russell, Frances Wilcox, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
