Dorothy Odessa Warfield Groves, 79, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Tennova Hospital, Clarksville, TN.

A native of Guthrie, KY, she was born July 23, 1941, daughter of the late Douglas and Jessie Ingram Warfield.

Dorothy was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tyson Groves, Five children, Aretha Warfield, Aziona Groves, Mark Warfield, Larry Warfield and

Ronnie Warfield, also eleven siblings, Leonard Warfield, Harry Warfield, Douglas Warfield, Joseph Warfield, John Warfield, Robert Warfield, Mary Warfield, Elois Warfield, Jean Warfield, Annie Terry and Suzanna Thorpe.

She is survived by six children, Carolyn Warfield, Saad (Sophia) Yazid, Tammy (Jimmy) Aigbefoh,  Doris (Willie) Young, Lisa Groves, and Troy Groves.  One sister, Rosie Mae Hardy, fourteen grandchildren and twenty- four great-grandchildren.
