Dorothy Marie Boyd Wilson, 90, Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Willie Lee "Pree" Boyd and Estella Bingham Boyd.

Dorothy, at an early age joined Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and later joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she was the pianist, member of the choir, Usher Board, and Culinary Ministry. She was employed as Civil Service at Fort Campbell.

Dorothy enjoyed singing, playing the piano, spending time with her family, cooking, and she had a green thumb for growing flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Wilson; Siblings, Virginia Wharton, Florence E. Wilson, Julia McGee, William Douglas Boyd, Rev. Pree W. Boyd, Lacey Boyd, Rev. Robert Boyd, and Raymond Boyd.

Survivors include her Sons, Nathan "Iven" (Nancy) Jessup and Clarence "Steve" Jessup; Siblings, Rosa Howard, and Iven Boyd, Sr.; Stepson, Jerry (Diane) Wilson; Stepdaughter, Mary Jane Wilson Carter; 4 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces.
