Earl Sydnor, 72, Elkton, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Clarksville. TN.

Earl was the son of the late William Thomas Sydnor and Willie Elizabeth Payne. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was employed as a concrete worker with McIntosh Construction.

Earl enjoyed music. He was a musician that enjoyed singing with his family, and being around the church. He played the piano for several churches in the area.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Owen C. Leavell, William T (Junebug) Sydnor, Jr., Mary L. Bell, Earlene S. Merriweather, and Kathryn V. Williams.

Survivors include his devoted companion, Shirley A. Cohen; daughter, Angel Davie; Stepson, Christopher (Felicia) Steadmon; uncle, Frank McReynolds; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Robert V. Sydnor, Betty A. Leavell, Tomico Barber, and Thomasine Hassell; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
