Bishop Eddie Rince Brown, 71, Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Clarksville, TN.

Bishop Brown, the son of the late Eddie and Katie Gray, was born on May 11, 1954, in Alligator, MS. He was the founder, pastor, and Bishop of New Beginnings Ministries. He retired from the U.S. ARMY and was a retired Real Estate Agent. He enjoyed music, singing, and dancing, football, spending time with his family, reading and studying the Bible. He has an Associates in Arts Degree from Coahoma Community College and Bachelors of Science Degree from Austin Peay State University.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Jenkins Brown; children, Tiffany (Mitchell) Avent, Lydia Brown, and Audrey Brown; siblings, Stella Brown Jordan; step siblings, Steve Zanders, Florean Smith, Leroy Zanders, and Johnnie Mae Rogers; grandchildren, Byron Watt, Jr. and Naryah Avent; a host of nieces and nephews.
