Edith Mae Kendrick McCarty, 96, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home.

A native of Webster County, she was born September 7, 1925, daughter of the late Chauncey Kendrick and Mattie Mae Kendrick.

She was a member of Casky Baptist Church.  She worked as a domestic worker and held several service jobs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William McCarty daughter, Estella Louise McCarty White, brothers, John A. Kendrick, Edward Kendrick and Robert Kendrick.

She is survived by her 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
