Edward Earl "Baebae" Poindexter, 65, Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Edward, the son of the late, Herman and Martha Poindexter, was born on October 22, 1959, in Hopkinsville, KY.

At an early age, Edward joined Durrett Avenue Baptist Church and was a handyman in construction. He enjoyed riding his bike and listening to music and entertaining. He liked to help people when he could. He had a strong relationship with God.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia D. Poindexter.

Survivors include his daughter, Sha'Dymon Buckner; Siblings, Raymond (Renea) Poindexter, Linda (Rodney) Poindexter- Cottingham, Debra Jean Poindexter, Nellie Poindexter, Tamara Denise Poindexter, Birtis Carver (Kimberly) Poindexter; a host of nieces and nephews.
