Elliott Price Irvin, 87, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A native of Trigg County, he was born December 18, 1933, son of the late Frank and Bertha Mayes Irvin.

Elliott was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Trustee, Van and Bus Driver. He was a retired Arch Welder from Johnson Control and also a Farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives, Hazel Mae Kirby and Doris Cecelia Bingham. Eight siblings, Marjorie Irvin, Ann Hendrix, Hewell Gude, Augusta Grubbs, Martha Boyd, Mary Lucille Ramsey, Frank Irvin, Jr and Molley Crump also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Gerald (Regina) Merriweather, Gregory Irvin, Sanford (Marcia) Irvin, Christopher Irvin, Pricetta Boyd, Corkey (Janice) Irvin and Preshion (Loretta) Irvin. Twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
