Elmer "Oop" Sharber, Jr., 72, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home of natural causes.

A MASK IS required.

A native of Christian County, he was born September 15, 1949 son of the late Elmer and Ozetta Trice Sharber, Sr.

Elmer was a member of Princeton Street Baptist Church. He was a self-employed Contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kendrick LaMont Lovan, a granddaughter, three brothers, Billy Louis, Herbert Eugene and Manuel Sharber.

Elmer is survived by his children, Carla-Nicole Brownlee, Fatima Aesha Sharber, step-children, Simone Dennis, Misha Malone, one brother, Morris McDonald (Valarie) Sharber, six sisters, Susie Sharber Bush, Betty Sharber (Ben) Jackson, Teresa Sharber (Ricky) Rice, Quincy Sharber Griffin, Veronica Sharber (O'Daniel) Buckner, Lula Hopson Mason, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
