Emma Jean Davie Hopson, 82, Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Bradford Heights Nursing Facility of natural causes.

Born on December 20, 1939, in Christian County, KY., Emma is the daughter of the late Howard Davie and Estelle Burse.

She was a Domestic Worker, and a faithful member of First Street Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "JP" Hopson Sr., 1 son, Phillip Hopson.

Survivors include 2 sons, Charles Hopson Jr, Terry (Karen) Hopson, 2 daughters, Rozeta (Michael) Robinson Bafford, and Angela Lax; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
