Mrs. Emma Alice Elizabeth Jones Knight, daughter of the late Erman R. Jones and Ada Overall Jones, was born April 14, 1935, in Taylorsville, Kentucky. She departed from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2026, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, at the age of 91.

She acknowledged Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Allen Grove Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health began to fail.

She loved going to yard sales and stopping by thrift stores, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Knight; two sons, Terry Knight and George Knight; six siblings, Anna Bell Warner, Lillie Mae Miles, Erman Jones, Jr., William Lee Jones, Allen Mitchell Jones, Richard Carl Jones, and Patricia Ann Hightower; and one grandson, Keith Ivory.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, William Keith "Billy" Knight, five siblings, Edith Brown, Eva (James) Bradley, Shirley Shanklin, Everett Thomas (Yolanda) Jones, Earl Scott (Angie) Jones, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends: a devoted god-daughter and caregiver, Marie Ivory.
