Florence Herring Lindsay, 96, Hopkinsville, passed on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Florence was the daughter of the late John Herring and Jessie Fleming Herring, was born December 27, 1926, in Christian County.

Florence was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church, member of the 50-year club, a Missionary and attended Sunday School faithfully.

She enjoyed gardening, raising vegetables, and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Linton Lindsay, twin sister Lucy Rogers, sister Nancy Harris, brother, John Herring, and two days after her death, her daughter Annetta "Gayle" Lindsay.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Brooks: 2 Siblings, Bettye Brooks and Mattie Brown.
