Frank Leavelle Whitlock, Jr., of Christian County, Kentucky, was born on August 26, 1964, and departed this life on September 28, 2026. His passing leaves behind a family who knew his steady love, and a community that will remember a man whose life was rooted in faith, hard work, and the simple joys that bring people together.

Frank was a member of the CCHS Class of 1983, and he went on to build a life marked by dedication and determination as the owner of FLW Construction. He was a man who took pride in his work and in the life he created for those he loved. Just as meaningful to him were the moments away from work—the hours spent around classic cars, at car shows, drag racing, and fishing. These were not just pastimes, but places where his spirit shone and where many shared in his enthusiasm.

Above all, Frank treasured his family. One of his proudest accomplishments was the time he spent with them, especially with his grandchildren, whose presence brought him deep joy. His faith was also central to his life. He was a deacon and member of Holiness Church of Deliverance, serving with commitment and devotion.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Rolanda Whitlock, with whom he shared a long and enduring marriage. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Teketria (Travis) Joiner, Brandon Whitlock, Nicole (Freddie) Whitlock Thompson, and Jarvis Whitlock. His legacy continues in the lives of his grandchildren, Kerazion Crouch, Braniyah Whitlock, Brayden Knight, Brandon “BJ” Whitlock, Mila Thompson, Kinsley Knight, Cori Thompson, and Brooklyn Whitlock, and in his great-grandchild, Embry Crouch. He is also survived by his father, Frank Whitlock, and his sister, Marita Whitlock, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, classmates, and church family who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Ann Whitlock.

Visitation for Frank Whitlock, Jr. will be held on October 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Gamble Funeral Home, 1311 S Liberty St., Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240. Funeral services will be held on October 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Holiness Church of Deliverance, 351 North Ridge Dr, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240. Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery, 2120 Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240.

Frank Leavelle Whitlock, Jr. will be remembered for the life he built, the faith he lived, and the love he gave so freely to his family. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew him.
