Garland O.G. Blane, 67, Hopkinsville, passed on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Garland was the son of the late Howell "AD" Blane and Ophelia Gee Blane. He was born on October 6, 1955, in Trigg Co.

Garland was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and worked as a roofer with Chilton Roofing and Evacuating. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and listening to the Blues.

Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca (O'Daniel) Buckner; Stepchildren, Chiffon Matlock and Willie Matlock; Sisters, Clara Blane and Darlene (Jimmie Wayne) Crenshaw; Grandchildren, Britney Buckner and Cardel Buckner, Special Cousin, Carolyn Tyler; Friend, Kim Wills; and a host of cousins.
