George Brandon Gomez, 21, died Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Hopkinsville, KY.

Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, January 14, 2000, he was the son of Montessa White Thornton, Hopkinsville, KY and Carl Bernard Smith, Murfreesboro, TN.

George was a member of Gainesville Baptist Church. He was employed as a Laborer/ Factory Worker.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Kierra Wallace Gomez, sister, LaKeisha White, grandmothers, Christine Haskins and Queen E. Thornton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father Kenneth Thornton, children, Kwamya Bussell, Ayce Lewis, step-children, Raymond Hill, Jr., Gia Hill, Kaysha Wallace and Thomas Wallace. Siblings, Ebonie Gomez, Courtney Gomez, Montavious White, Lamon Thornton, Brooklynn Thornton, Haley Thornton, Carl Smith, Jr., Carlea Smith, Karlandria Smith, Quanisha Mays, To'Quake'Sha Smith, Te'Qulia Smith and To'Quala Smith. Paternal grandfather Theodore Barrett, and Paternal great-grandparents, James and Bertha White.
