George Daniel "Silk" Massie, 70, Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, in Hopkinsville, KY.

George was the son of the late Oscar and Lillie Massie. He was born on March 9, 1952.

George was employed at White Hydraulic and was an U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed talking on His "CB", 313 was his handle, Silk. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret J. Massie; Siblings, Paul Massie and Kay Cushenberry.

Survivors include his daughter, Christine Massie; Stepchildren, Finies Bell, Eric Bell, Andre Bell, Andrea Bell, and Kenyatta Bell; Brother, Sylvester Massie.
