George Franklin Proctor, Sr., 71, Oak Grove, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

George, the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Proctor, was born on October 4, 1953, in Leonard town, Maryland.

George was a Terminal Bus Driver at Nashville International Airport. He was in the U.S. ARMY. He enjoyed fishing, watching football (Washington Commanders "Redskins"), and he enjoyed and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia Proctor; In-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Harley, Gloria Proctor, and Thomas Chuck Proctor.

Survivors include his children, George Proctor Jr., and Marchi Rodriquez; Siblings, Elizabeth P. Proctor, Shirley C. (Rusty) Davis, Theresa Darlene (Devine) Proctor, Thomas Purcell (Dorothy) Proctor, Jr., and Richard H. Proctor; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
