Geraldine Elizabeth Bunton, 81, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Bowling Green, KY.

Geraldine was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Bailey Sr. She was born on July 6, 1942, in Russellville, Ky.

Geraldine was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was employed as the Family Resource Coordinator at Stevenson Elementary in Russellville, Ky.

Geraldine enjoyed socializing, talking to people, music and singing. She was affiliated with The Happy Home Makers 25 Club and The Human Rights Commission.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jones Bunton; daughter, Kimberly Toliver; brother John T. Bailey.

Survivors include her daughters, Risa (Raymond) Toliver-Williams, Tonya Toliver-West, Stacey Toliver-Ware; brother James Albert Bailey, Jr.; grandchildren, Regina Williams, Kevin Browder, Devron West, Dakota Ware, Dr. Felicia A. Toliver; one great-grandchild.
