Henry Lee Russell, Sr., 78 Gracey, passed on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Henry was the son of the late B. Joe and Lottie Bell Roach Russell and was born on December 3, 1943.

He was a member of Montgomery Elizabeth Baptist Church where he was Sunday School teacher, Choir member, Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent.

He was a farmer and enjoyed being outside working and working on lawn mowers. He worked in construction and worked for civil service. In Vietnam, he was a bull dozier operator. He was also a cook in the Reserves.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Brashier Russell; 3 children, Melissa Russell, Rev. Henry Lee (Tonya) Russell Jr., Dominique Russell; 2 grandchildren, Jacorie Summers and TaTyana JoLeigha Baker; 2 caregivers, Donna Wadlington and Becky Barnett; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
