Jacquelyn Renea
Hickman
May 11, 1964 — Apr 12, 2026
Sunrise…Jacquelyn Renea Hickman, daughter of the late Norman and Mary Carolyn Gray Hickman, was born on May 11, 1964, in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Growing up in a Christian environment, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She joined the Princeton Street Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother's Ministry, as the Church Secretary, a member of the Choir, the Culinary Committee, and as Youth Director.
"Jackie", as she was affectionately called, worked for over thirty years as an Instructional Assistant for the Christian County Board of Education. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, traveling, spending time with family, friends, and her church family, and she loved the kids; she loved being bossy and sassy. "Jackie" was also a member of the Crofton Committee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sophia Hickman.
Sunset… On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tennessee, Jacquelyn departed from this life. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Kenisha Hickman and Shenika Drake. Siblings, Rhonda Gray, Beverly (Paul) Chambers, Tonya Hickman, Derrick (Meagan) Hickman, and Shallotta Hickman; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
