James Wayne Elliott, 69, Houston TX., passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, of natural causes.

Born on June 16, 1953, in Russellville, KY., James is the son of the late Beatrice Elliott Sr. and Julia Ann Cabell.

He was employed as a truck driver and served in the U S Air Force.  He was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers, William B. Elliott, William L Elliott, Joseph Elliott, Robert M Elliott, 2 sisters, Linda Elliott, Billie K. Comer, 1 niece, Melody Mayo, and 1 ex-wife, Mildred Elliott.

Survivors include, 2 sons, Marcus (Shequita) Elliott, Justin Blount, 2 daughters, Kayla Elliott, Brea Blout, 1 brother, Beatrice Elliott Jr., daughter-in-law, Sechi Webb, 9 grandchildren (including Rickey Berry III, Kamiya Webb), 8 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
