James Massey Majors, 69,  Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

James, the son of the late James Major, Sr., and Velor Brim Major, was born on January 23, 1956, in Christian County, KY.

James was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church where he was an Usher. Previously, he was employed in farming with Dale Fentress Farms. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, working on and teaching others how to work on cars. He was a member of the Bass Fishing Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl Majors, SR. and Luther Williams Major; sister, Brenda Ann Johnson; close friend, Dale Fentress.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patricia Ann Majors; children, James L. Major, Javorise T. Major, and Terrance D. Young; siblings, Linda (Bobby) Shingles, Patricia Hester, Loyd (Lois) Brim, Arlanda (Teresa) Brim, Shanta (David) Williams, Michelle (Randy) Stevenson, and Jacqueline (Ken) Walker; 9 grandchildren; devoted niece, Zamarrie Hall; a host of nieces and nephews.
