James Edward Mumford, 70, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky of natural causes.

Mask are required to attend funeral services.

A native of Christian County, he was born April 22, 1951, son of the late Jimmy Mumford and Mary White Roberts.

James was a member of Montgomery Elizabeth Baptist Church.

He was a retired Navy Veteran. He had also worked several years with Agri-Chemical.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, a son, David O. Mumford.

He is survived by his wife, Delores A. Mumford, two daughters, Nikita Mumford, and Theressa Mumford (Trancy) Smith, Siblings, Douglas (Gayle) Irvin, Tyrone Irvin, Louis (Mary) Irvin, Patricia Agee, Mary (Donald) Lander, and seven grandchildren.
