James Howard Overstreet Jr., 78, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Ahava Healthcare, Clarksville of natural causes.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Ward officiating.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Jacksonville, FL he was born November 16, 1941, the son of the late James Howard Overstreet, Sr. and Maybelle Brown Overstreet.

He worked several years as a Custodian for Holiday Inn retiring in 2010.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Overstreet Davis and one brother, Nathaniel Overstreet.

Survivors include his sisters, Marjorie Overstreet Austin, Nancy Overstreet Hedgeman, Helen (Clarence) Overstreet, brothers, Horace Overstreet Sr., and Clarence Overstreet.
